The movie took us a whole two hours to watch. When it was over, it was nine thirty.
"Well, I'm tired, and it's passed everyone else's usual curfew. I think it's time for bed." Vicky said, standing up as a cue for Jordan and to do the same.
Vicky made it to the stairs first, and Jordan and I followed behind, comparing Shatner's Star Trek to the one we just saw.
"I kinda liked Shatner and his spastic 'I....can't....act....without....my lines.' Gave me something to laugh at." I told Jordan as we walked up the stairs.
"Oh, like the episode where they go to save the whales wasn't funny enough." Jordan added.
"True. But that was still a fricken' great movie, regardless of Shatner or not." I said, as we started to walked down the hallway to our respected rooms.
"It's bed time, Trekkie." I heard Vicky call from the master bedroom. Jordan and I both said 'okay' at the same time, looked at each other about the timing, and laughed. He walked into his room, saying goodnight as he closed

"...open, just kick it with your foot." this time it was Leo voice I heard, and I looked down. I was being carried by Leo and Aaron. Leo had my feet, and Aaron had my torso, with his arm under mine. He back was to the door of the locker room, and they were now carrying me trough the locker room and into the lobby.
"Ah, your awake. We're taking you to the sofa in the lobby." Leo said, without either of them slowing.
I was carried over to the couch, and laid on it like a rag doll. It was only now that I noticed that I was still wearing my wet suit.
"Aren't you concerned about me getting your couch wet?" I asked, with a very hoarse voice.
"You just passed out twice. I don't give two flying fucks about the couch." Leo said, with a very odd caring, yer joking tone to his voice. "So, what happened?" Leo asked, taking a perch on the small table in front of the couch. Aaron was grabbing the rolling chair from behind the front desk, and was now sitting behind Leo.
"I don't know....I just got in

For the first time in a very long time, I was actually awoken by the sound of the bedroom door closing. I rolled over to see that it was seven ten. Vicky must have been opening, and didn't want to wake me up.
I didn't dwell too long on that idea because Jordan needed to get up, and I needed to take him to work.
I did the usual thing: walked down the hallway to his room, opened it, yelled at him to get up, and turned on the light. While he slowly woke up, I went down stairs to prepare breakfast. I changed it up a little bit and fried four eggs today, two for each of us eating.
Jordan came downstairs just as I was putting both plates on the table. He looked at the food, and raised an eyebrow.
"What's with the eggs on the toast?" he asked, either annoyed, still tired, or a mix of the two.
"I thought we could both have something a little more than toast on a Monday." I told him, "Why, is that not okay?"
"No, it's fine. I was curious, that's all ." He said, now sitting down in his usua

We both woke up roughly at the same time. I don' know if my moving when I woke, woke her up as well, or if it was the other way around. Either way, it was eight thirty, it was a Sunday, and no one had school or work.
Vicky had claimed the shower first, so I went downstairs to look online at the Astoria Tribune, and to check Yahoo! for the weather. It was supposed to be a fairly cool day, with lows at fifty two, and highs at sixty one. There was also the Harvest Festival still continuing just outside of town, further inland. I'll have to mention that to Vicky and Jordan at breakfast, I thought to myself, as I returned upstairs again to wake Jordan up for our Sunday breakfast, and get in the shower myself.
I walked out of Jordan's room with him grumbling something about how stupid it was to go out for breakfast on Sundays. I had to agree with him as I walked back to my bedroom to get ready for the shower when Vicky got out. Getting up this early just to go and eat was (in mine, and Jorda

I was awoken my wife in the shower, which I also missed while I was in the hospital. It was Saturday, so Jordan didn't need to go to school, but Vicky did need to go to school. Knowing I didn't need to awake and up, I stayed in bed, just laying there.
Vicky came out of the shower with her usual three towels, and smoke shield of steam behind her. "Didn't I tell you to stay away from out towels, you towel thief?" I teased her
"Oh, shut up. If I wanted to still anything, it'd be the TV." She teased back, throwing the wet towel from her head at me, hitting me square in the face. She walked toward her walk in closet, dropping the towel she dragged with her next to her hamper, and taking the towel that was around her off as she vanished into her closet.
"You don't have to get dressed in there all the time, you know. I wouldn't mind looking at you as you dressed." I shouted to her, loud enough for her to hear, but not Jordan.
"You'd like that, though." She said, walking out of the closet a li

"I love kitties. I actually love kitties a little more then I love nachos, and I really like nachos."
"What ever you say, Dave. But you should watch how many of those nachos you eat. You are getting pretty hefty."
I woke up, and looked at the TV, still on. It was either some sort of stupid ad, or a TV show, but I didn't bother to wait to see which it was. I turned the TV off, and walked over to the hallway, and then through to the bathroom.
I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked very gaunt, and almost ghost-like. Trying to tidy myself up a little bit, I took the spare razor I kept in the medicine cabinet in the bathroom, and the shaving cream, and went to shave my five o'clock shadow.
As I shaved, some color returned to my face, and I started to look at my hair, which was greasy and out of control. That's next, I told myself. I finished shaving, and started to clean my face of all the spare little bits of shaving cream. I caught a glimpse at my watch. It was five forty, so that wou

I awoke a little after seven in the morning, and knew I had until lunch before I would b allowed to leave. So I went back to my iPod for entertainment until then.
Instead of reading and listing to music, I choose to listen to music and play one of the greatest games of all time: Tetris. I had always loved Tetris, and my wife hated me for it. She thought she was pretty good at puzzle games, until we started to play versus Tetris, and I would absolute murder her.
I must have lost track of time, because the nest thing I know, a nurse was waving for my attention, and it was now eleven forty. I stopped playing, and turned off my music by pulling the headphones out of the headphone jack.
"Ah, Mr. Lane, good to see you know I'm here." I wanted to tell her to stuff it, but I wasn't in the mood to argue with someone I didn't know, "Your due to leave at twelve, if your vitals are looking stable. I'm just going to check them, and make sure their stable." She walked over to the foot of my bed, gra

Ten mintues later, Vicky and Jordan walked in my room at four twelve with Subway bags and drinks in their hands. Jordan comes over to the right side of my bed and I scoot up to better eat. He gives me one of the Subway bags, and one of the two drinks he was carrying. "Here's your sandwich, dad." he told me. I asked him to grab the tray for me, and he did, placing it on the left side of my bed yet again.
Vicky (who was standing the doorway watching this all) walked over to the other bed, as Jordan stole the chair in the corner. "You didn't call me." was all she said as she sat down.
"Oh, crap, yeah I forgot. I'm sorry..." I allowed my voice to trail so the depth of my sorry-ness sank in.
"It's okay. I forgot about it too until we were coming up in the elevator." she nodded her head to Jordan as she said 'we'. I then looked over to him, his face already redden by the mariner sauce. "So what did the doctor say?"
"Well, I first heard it from Leo, but I didn't get the whole story," I told h

"Well, good morning, you lazy bastard." I opened my eyes, to see Leo standing, hand on his hips, next to the window, blinds pulled open, "It's ten o'clock, time to get up!" I groaned.
"I'm dying, I think I have the right to rest." I informed him, rolling over so my back would face him and the sun light pouring from the window.
"No your not." was was walking around to face me, on the right side of my bed, "I talked to your doctor before I came in here. You blood tests came back, and a doctor took a look at your x-rays: you have a slight infection in your blood, and a little bit of internal bruising, but nothing a little of rest and drugs can't fix!" He said, as he playfully punched my arm.
"Way are you so cheerful?" his energy seemed to radiate, and I was suddenly a little more awake then I was five seconds ago.
"Because, I have some fan-fucking-tastic news!" he pretty much yelled, which got a few of the nurses from the nurse station outside my room to look oddly in. "You rem
